Christine's Story...
Christine was trapped in Sun Valley when she was a tiny kitten. She had three siblings (all tabbies) who were all adopted, but because Christine is black, that ís probably why she was the only one who was not. She is a little angel, full of personality. When you pet her she rolls over and does somersaults! She ís just a wonderful little girl and people are really missing out by passing her over just because of her color. She ís spayed (of course!), tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV (negative on both), current on her vaccinations, and microchipped. She ís hoping that someone very special will see inside of her and give her the forever home that she has been waiting for so long. If you are interested in adopting from Cat Posse, please visit our website, and fill out the application on her page. You can also contact Sharon at to have an application either e-mailed or faxed to you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Christine, a Pasadena Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Pasadena, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Pasadena.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pasadena already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pasadena breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pasadena paves the way for another one to be saved.
