Hi! I am Ajax a handsome 7 year old boy who came all the way from New Mexico with my buddy Cricket. We were left outside our whole lives and had only each other for love and companionship. Then one day, Cricket decided we should run away. I always do what she says since she is like an older sister to me. Now that we are safely settled in with our AZBR foster families, I love my new life and even trained myself to use the doggie door! I am pretty mellow and go with the flow. I like to eat a little too much and my foster mom calls me a Buddha belly. I get so excited now that I get love for the first time that when I get doggie massages I howl! I also kind of like the sound of my own voice and tend to bark when I am outside so my foster mom calls me back in a lot.

I get along with everybody, I enjoy treats, and put myself in our crate when I am ready for a nap. Well, until I discovered my foster mom’s bed! She came in one day and found that I had made myself quite comfortable up there. Hmmm, what else…oh, I roll around on my back and make happy grunting sounds, I give kisses and I am extremely gentle. I heard I was AKC registered but don’t know what that is. I just want to live the rest of my life spoiled and loved.
