Mackenzie's Story...
Hello friends! My name is Mackenzie and I am ready to play, snuggle, and then play some more! I am a very loving girl and I am just so beautiful (as you can see!) I am about 7 months old, 45 lbs, and I am all wiggly pup although I am still just a bit shy with new things. I was kind of a country girl back in CA so I am just getting used to this new city thing but I am really digging it! I am in doggy daycare and just loving it and having the best time with all my friends!
I am a great girl looking for an active home to call my own!
I will be spayed with my adoption, I am vaccinated and microchipped.
Just because I can be a little bit shy sometimes I would love a home with kids over 8.
My adoption fee is $200

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mackenzie, a Portland Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Portland, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
