Waldo's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Waldo's Story...
Waldo is a black Scottish Terrier/Schnauzer mix. He weighs approximately 32 pounds and is about 1 1/2 years old. He seems fine with dog-savvy cats (see photo). He's a laid back, sweet little guy who has recovered from an injury to his jaw, and would do best in a home with another dog. Having a doggy friend seems to make him feel comfortable. He loves
car rides, is great on a leash, and would be a wonderful companion.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Waldo, a Vista Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Schnauzer (Standard) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Schnauzer (Standard) for sale in Vista, or seeking a Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Schnauzer (Standard) dog from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Schnauzer (Standard) breeders who help with Scottie, Scottish Terrier/Schnauzer (Standard) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
