I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with cats.
Marmee was found taped in a box with her 3 kittens on the front steps of a cat boarding hotel in Pasadena. There was a note written on the box saying that they had tried to find them homes, but could not. Marmee was still a baby herself when she had a litter (all 3 kittens have been adopted!). Which shows the importance of spaying/neutering your pet before they reach the age of five months! Marmee is a bit shy but wouldn’t you be too if your life was as uncertain as hers was. She has definitely warmed up in the few short weeks we’ve had her and will only get better and better. She has been spayed, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative for both!), and is just waiting for the right person to adopt her. If you are interested in adopting from Cat Posse, please visit our website, www.catposse.org and fill out the application on the cats page. You can also contact Sharon at firstname.lastname@example.org to have an application either e-mailed or faxed to you.
The Cat Posse is a group of individuals devoted to rescuing and rehabilitating unwanted and abused cats in Southern California. We educate our communities about the importance of spaying and neutering, and we believe that all animals deserve dignity and kindness as we work toward the day when all public shelters will be "no kill".
