Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog Mix Dog for adoption in Phoenix, Arizona - Izzy

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Izzy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Izzy's Story...
Izzy's guardian has stage four cancer and is looking for a new family to adopt Izzy. Only 10 months old, Izzy knows basic commands, is crate trained, house trained, and great on a leash. She weighs 35 pounds and the vet says she is full-grown. Izzy loves to play and has lots of energy . She needs to find a person who will enjoy taking her for daily walks or hikes, and who has yard for her to run and play ball. Originally found as a stray puppy at a garbage dump in northern Arizona, Izzy's exact heritage is unknown. Trainers guess she may be part Lab, German Shephard and Australian Cattle dog. We definitely know Izzy has a warm and gentle personality. She gets along with other dogs and would make a wonderful family companion! She's been spayed, all her shots are up to date and she is microchipped. She recently had a vet exam as well, and is very healthy. Would you like to meet Izzy? Please send your e-mail to or call 602-391-8333 for more information.

PS. Izzy is fostered in the Phoenix area, so a meeting at a local Petsmart can be arranged.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Izzy, a Phoenix Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
