Gracie--PURE pitt bull's Story...
8-4-09 All of us are in agreement that Gracie is the prettiest and one of the nicest pit bulls we have ever known. We do have a bit of history on her, she was purchased as a puppy for $300 and is now about a 10 months old; she has been a great companion to small children. Gracie left her fenced yard when the kids kept leaving gate open and was repeatedly picked up by animal control, this time the family has decided to give her up to the shelter. She gets along wonderfully with all of our dogs, loves to play, and walks well on leash. she also loves to play in the water hose spray! Gracie is going to make a great pet. Her adopter must have dog experience and an excellent vet reference. Gracie will be spayed before placement. Please save lives by adopting from shelters and rescues and by spaying and neutering your own pets!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie--PURE pitt bull, a Charleston Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Charleston, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Charleston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charleston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charleston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charleston paves the way for another one to be saved.
