Luna's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Luna's Story...
What an incredible dog! Luna was found wandering alone, skinny and afraid by a loving family. One month later you would never know she was the same dog! Luna now knows sit/stay, is great with children (is currently living in a home with 7 children), cats, dogs and is crate trained. As with all working breeds, she has high prey drive but knows when to turn it off and can be a very relaxed dog. When excited, she likes to herd anything that comes her way . . .dogs . . cats . . .guinea pigs . . children! (o: This girl has huge potential for herding, agility, fly ball, you name it. Loves being the center of attention and would do well with obedience training. Spayed, up to date on shots and housbroke. The foster family cannot keep her and all they ask is that Luna have a happy, loving home. Help us make this Christmas wish come true!

Act quickly to adopt Luna. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luna, a Roundup Australian Kelpie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Kelpie for sale in Roundup, or seeking a Australian Kelpie dog from a breeder in Roundup.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roundup already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roundup breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Kelpie breeders who help with Australian Kelpie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roundup paves the way for another one to be saved.
