Dino's Story...
Dino does not know much about the world. He has been very neglected in his short life. He doesn't know how to walk on a leash, is only partly house trained, is afraid to get on the bed or the furniture, or know any commands. However, he is the sweetest and most loving little dog you have ever seen. He wants nothing more than to have you rub his tummy and pet him. He isn't terribly active or "busy". All he wants is love and petting. It is something he has had very little of. Dino loves people and wants to be where ever you are. He doesn't let you out of his sight.
That glossy, beautiful, rough coat needs a little grooming, but we will not strip it all off. He just needs a little "touch up". He is neutered and current on all his vaccinations and is on a heartworm preventative. No cats or small kids. Female dogs only for playmates---no male dogs. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dino, a Austin Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Austin, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
