Brady's Story...
St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals once said, "God requires that we assist the animals when they need our help. Each being, human or creature, has the same right of protection."

Brady is a charming black and tan male who came to us needing our help. He was dirty and covered with mats and fleas and hobbled into the hearts of our volunteers. We noticed that he was limping on one of his front legs, so we took him to an orthopedic vet to have the leg evaulated. The diagnosis was an old injury which was never treated and healed improperly so there was nothing that can be done. Although he is not in any pain, he will always limp. This happy little guy likes to cuddle and be loved and would give his heart and soul to someone who will accept him and love him unconditionally.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brady, a Sugarland Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Sugarland, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Sugarland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sugarland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sugarland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sugarland paves the way for another one to be saved.
