Hank's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Hank's Story...
Hank was rescued by a local citizen who saw an ad in the paper advertising him as 'free to good home'. Terrified that he may be scooped up for research, she picked him up and called us since she had 7 dogs already.

He's great with cats and kids and although, for the most part, he gets along with other dogs, he sometimes gets irritated and initiates a scruffle. Therefore, we are recommending a home where is the only dog and all the attention can be directed towards him. He is extremely friendly and a wonderful guy. Hank has responded well to his foster dad's obedience training which will need to continue in his new home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hank, a Cleveland Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Cleveland, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Cleveland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cleveland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cleveland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cleveland paves the way for another one to be saved.
