Maddie's Story...
"Hello, my name is Maddie. I'm a very sweet & shy girl, but I do like to meet new people and will warm up to you after a few days. I have had a rough past but I'm willing to leave that behind to have a wonderful future. I'm a little slow to learn to trust, but once I do, I am your best friend forever! I do wonderful around other dogs and sometimes I even get comfortable enough to play with them -- I don't think I was ever allowed to do that before I came to rescue. I also don't mind cats -- in my thoughts, they are there and if they don't bother me, I won't bother them! I love to be around kids, especially once I know they are not going to hurt me. I love the ones that take me for walks and give me hugs and treats because they make me feel very special. I love going for walks -- it is very fun to see new and exciting things and I behave very well on the leash. I have been working on learning my commands like sit, down, and come as well and I have come along ways. I would love to have a person who is willing to be patient and earn my trust to give me a forever home. I know I can be the perfect dog, just give me a chance to prove it to you, please?"

Maddie is up to date on shots (including Rabies), spayed, and housebroke.

Maddie is a Sheltie/Corgi Cross.

Maddie is approximately 1-2 years old.
