Susie Q's Story...
I can truly say without hesitation, that Susie Q is my favorite dog! She is the sweetest happiest little soul you have ever met. Despite her age, she has a puppy's spring to her step, she is always peppy and cheerful and her tail is always wagging. Susie Q is a perfectly behaved little girl that has never had an accident in the house. She is happy exploring outside and she can be caught sunbathing whenever she gets the chance. She gets along great with other dogs and cats - if a dog growls at her over a treat or a toy, she just turns right around and trots happily off the other way wagging her tail. She leads the happy, carefree life we all strive to have. Susie Q would love to be loved for the rest of her life by a family that loved and cherished her for what a wonderful joyful dog she is. Susie Q is about 10 years old and weighs about 18 pounds; she is nearly deaf and has a slightly enlarged heart. If you are interested, please email us at and put Susie Q's name in the subject line.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Susie Q, a Rolling Hills Estates Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Dachshund for sale in Rolling Hills Estates, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Rolling Hills Estates.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rolling Hills Estates already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rolling Hills Estates breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Dachshund breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rolling Hills Estates paves the way for another one to be saved.
