Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Sparky's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Sparky's Story...
Hi, its me -- Sparky!
I am a long haired chihuahua mixed with I am not sure what. I am about one (1) year old.
As you can see by my pictures I am sort of small. I am not sure what a pound is but Foster Mom says I am under 13 of them.
I like dogs (even big ones) and cats are no big deal. I like nice children, too.
When I was rescued by Kind Lady, I was dragging myself along the ground as best I could after my front legs broke. The Man at my old house said I "fell off the roof."
Kind Lady rushed me to Dog Doctor and after I woke up my legs felt better. They are all well now and I do not even limp!
Its kinda embarrassing, but Foster Mom tells me I am just the most wonderful little guy. I love Foster Family a lot and they love me a lot, but I need a forever home with My Very Own Family. I would also love a dog buddy 'cause my other name is The Playmaster.
Would you like to have me keep you company and snuggle and play with you? If so, maybe you can meet me and we will see about it! Hugs, the Sparkster

Oh, and please call Foster Mom if you want more information or if you wish to meet me. If she isn't there to answer, please leave a message and she will call you back. Thank you!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sparky, a San Diego/North County Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Diego/North County, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Diego/North County.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego/North County already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego/North County breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego/North County paves the way for another one to be saved.
