My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nica was found abandoned in Feb 2009 at a UPS when she was 4-6 months of age. The management tried to run her off with a broom!!! Poor little thing!!! Her rescuers named her Nica, short for "New Cat" but the more appropriate name now would be "Shadow" as she will follow you all around. She's very quiet as her meow. Nica loves to be picked up and very docile that one could turn her into a pretzel without a peep. Very loving and playful, she's the slayer of dust bunnies and her catnip filled chirp bird. Her favorite past time is to climb the tall kitty tree and sit in the top plotting revenge against the wild birds outside the window that flit around the feeders and taunt her. She's very demure but no lady when it comes to mealtime chomping nosily and chewing with her mouth open. Nica is about 1 year-old now and is a special needs kitty. She's FIV positive but healthy not showing any symptoms. She must be an only cat (indoors) in the household or be a companion to another FIV positive kitty.
