D0566's Story...
I am one of three cute puppies found as strays. I will be available for adoption on August 24th if my owner doesn't come to get me. I'm about 5 months old and 28lbs. I'm very sweet and I'm the most shy of the three. I'd like a responsible owner who will get me out to meet lots of new people and animals! As part of a commitment to reducing pet overpopulation, I will be adopted out on a neuter contract which includes a monetary deposit that will be refunded when you provide proof that I have been altered, which MUST be done within 30 days of my adoption!! If you are interested in providing a loving responsible forever home and you have the time to properly train, socialize and love a wonderful boy like me, please contact the shelter and don't forget to include my ID number! If you don't plan to honor the adoption contract and have me neutered and keep me up to date on my shots, please do not inquire about adopting me.

ALL ANIMALS MUST BE ALTERED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF ADOPTION OR BY SIX MONTHS OF AGE!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

D0566, a Ladysmith Black and Tan Coonhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black and Tan Coonhound for sale in Ladysmith, or seeking a Black and Tan Coonhound puppy from a breeder in Ladysmith.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ladysmith already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ladysmith breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black and Tan Coonhound breeders who help with Black and Tan Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ladysmith paves the way for another one to be saved.
