My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Breed: Aussie Cattle Dog Mix –

Gender: Female –

"Hi! My name is Trixie. That is what my foster parents have been calling me because they don't know my real name and I can't tell them. They found me about 6 or 7 weeks ago wandering around on the side of the streets. A truck almost hit me! But thankfully, my they convinced me to get in the car (it took almost an hour and I was SO THIRSTY! I'm so glad they kept trying and they had water in their car!). I'm pretty hyper and I'm a really great watchdog! I bark to let you know what's going on. I'm an Australian Cattle Dog (that's what the Animal Control people told them when they checked me for a microchip, which I don't have). My foster parents have a dog who's really mellow and doesn't like to play, and run and jump like I do. They also have kittens, and I'm so used to them now that they sleep cuddled up next to me! I love to jump up on you and give you hugs! I even wrap my arms and paws right around you and show you my love. My foster mother cries because she knows she can't give me the kind of home and attention that I need and she has to find another forever home for me. She says I'm a sweet and good girl and I know she wishes she could give me the home that I need. My foster parents almost found a home for me but had a bad feeling I would not be going to a good place, and that I would get hurt or worse, so they are still looking for a place for me that they know I will be safe and loved. I will give you so much love you will wonder what you ever did without me! Please consider giving me a forever home; I promise you will love me!"
