Peanut is an exceptionally sweet, 2 year old, 26 pound beagle/ chihuahua mix dog. She has spent her whole life as a beloved family member with her two sisters Jelly & Butter. The girls were surrendered due to an issue beyond the control of their person who loves them and has taken good care of them since they were puppies. Peanut is shy in new situations and when she meets new people but she warms up with some nice talk. She is potty trained and a champion couch warmer. Her hobbies are eating, napping, snacking, looking for random crumbs, and being generally adorable. Peanut is a little bit overweight but regular walks and appropriate diet should take care of that.
This dog is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $400 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 10am-Noon. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
