Dear Anya is a shy girl who had kittens at a local animal shelter. All the kittens got adopted and poor Anya was left behind with no one to call her own! At first people thought she was "feral" because she's so shy. She growls when she's scared but doesn't scratch or bite. Anya needs a home with outstanding owners who are understanding of her shyness. She will come out of her shell but it may take awhile, and Anya will need to do that on her own terms and in her own time. She seems fine with other cats, but would do great in a quiet home where she can relax, kick back and take her time to get to know you
