My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bleeker is a wonderful Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix. he looks mostly Chihuahua, but has the coarser fur of the Rat terrier. he is a total lover. He will give you hugs and kisses, and if you aren't paying attention to him he will definitely make sure you will. He doesn't bark all that much, usually just when in his kennel, letting you know he has to go out. he does not like to be in the kennel alone, so a home with another dog his size would be preferred. He likes to play, with you or with other dogs, and will carry his favorite stuffed animal everywhere. He is a Velcro dog, and anywhere you are, he will be. He is working on being house trained, as he has had inconsistent training. It is slowly working though, he is starting to tell you when he has to go potty. He eats once a day, and loves treats. He was fed table scraps, so will beg, but if you tell him no he will reluctantly look away. he does not show any signs of aggression with anyone or any other dog that comes into the home. He will be neutered on the 9th of September and will be available for adoption shortly after that. Bleeker is microchipped and up to date on all shots. His adoption fee is $295.
