My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Emily. She is a full breed Pomeranian. Emily came to us one cold October night in the back of a pickup truck with a lightweight shell on it. She was in a cardboard box with a long on top of it to keep her inside. She was dirty and very matted. Emily was very neglected and scared when she first came into rescue, but has really turned around in the last couple months. She needs a forever home that will be patient with her and give her the attention she deserves. She has only been in her new foster home a couple months and already greets her foster mom at the door with a waggly tail and kisses (this is huge for a puppy mill dog). She is still timid at times, but I'm convinced she will make a full recovery with time and the right home. She is doing good on potty training, but isn't 100% there yet. She would do well in a home with a fenced yard because she doesn't understand the concept of a leash yet unless somebody wanted to take the time to train her. She does get along with other small dogs and has never shown any aggression to people. Last, but not least, she gives the best hugs; she wraps her whole body around you. She would be a great addition to any family. We think that she is 3 - 5 years old.

The adoption fee for Emily is $200. Each of our dogs is up to date on all shots, including rabies, spayed or neutered, microchipped, fecal tested for internal parasites, treated if necessary, tested for heartworm, treated if necessary, on heartworm preventative and we also take care of dentals or any other medical needs they may have.
