Silver's Info...

Silver's Story...
Holiday Special - $50 adoption fee until Jan. 1 only!! Silver is a pretty 2 1/2 year old silver grey tabby with muted coloring and a black striped tail. She is a friendly girl who doesn't mind being handled and enjoys sitting in your lap and rocking. Silver loves to have her ears scratched and enjoys playing with toys and feathers. Silver can take a little while to adjust to strange situations but warms up quickly. She has gotten along fine with the cats in her foster home but she would probably most enjoy being an only cat where she can have total control of your lap and the foot of your bed. If you'd like a soft and cuddly lap warmer this winter, Silver may be the girl for you! Adoption fee: $135

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Silver, a Mora Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Mora, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Mora.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mora already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mora breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mora paves the way for another one to be saved.
