Grady's Story...
Gabby and her 4 babies (Gidget, Ginny, Grady, & Grier) were found at a rest area near Henrietta, Oklahoma. All are healthy and doing well. Their mom is very good natured and trusting of people with a gentle and fairly mellow demeanor. Gabby weighs 40 pounds and we are not really sure what she is, possibly she has some Australian Shepherd and/or Border Collie. All the pups have short little legs so we believe that dad may have been a Corgi, or something along those lines. Whatever they are, they are cute, healthy, happy and awaiting their forever homes. The spay/neuter is included in the adoption fee of $200 and is a required component of the adoption. They are 8 weeks old and ready to go home this Sunday (1/9/05). If you are interested, please email us at pal@palrescue.org and put the dog's name in the subject line.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Grady, a El Segundo Australian Shepherd/Corgi puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Corgi for sale in El Segundo, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Corgi puppy from a breeder in El Segundo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Segundo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Segundo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Corgi breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Segundo paves the way for another one to be saved.
