I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

SIENNA's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

SIENNA's Story...
Sienna is a very small Pekingese (about 11.5 pounds), who was found wandering. No one claimed her, so we were able to take her into rescue. She is a very sweet dog and because of her size, cannot be adopted to a family with young children.

Sienna is timid and is a little hesitant when she is introduced to something new. As time goes by, her tail goes up and wags more often. She loves treats and seems to understand that she is supposed to go potty outside. So far she has not had any accidents in the house. This girl has latched on to her foster mom and makes sure she is always close to her just in case there might be a belly rub coming her way. Sienna had to have several rotten teeth removed. She is hypothyroid and needs daily medication. This medication is very inexpensive.

Sienna appears to be uninterested in the resident cats and tget along very well with the two resident dogs.

Sienna is about 8 years of age. She is heartworm negative, has been spayed, and is up to date on vaccines. She eats very well.

We are looking for a very special family for this little girl. She is very sweet and will be a wonderful addition to a family who is lucky enough to adopt her. Her adoption fee is $225.00.

We adopt in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia and require home and vet checks.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SIENNA, a Virginia Beach Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese for sale in Virginia Beach, or seeking a Pekingese dog from a breeder in Virginia Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Virginia Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Virginia Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese breeders who help with Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Virginia Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
