Alton's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Alton's Story...

Alton is from a family of dozens of farm cats rescued a mile down the road from the refuge. He was the cat the owner of the farm said would be the hardest to bring in because he was so 'shy.' Well, Alton is shy no more. He is one of the sweetest cats you will ever meet. He loves attention and is always looking for a head and back rub. If, by chance, you pass him by without any attention, he'll kindly remind you that he's here and ready to be pet by meowing loudly and looking up at you with eyes as sweet as sugar. Come see him! I guarantee that you will fall in love with this little guy.

Male, mostly white with black markings, short-hair, neutered, all shots Born 06/2008

About The Goathouse Refuge

About Our Shelter...

Siglinda Scarpa is a potter and a sculpter who owns 3 acres of fenced-in property in which she houses 150-200 homeless cats. The Refuge is a sanctuary for these cats, who never have to leave, but if they are adoptable, the cats are posted on our website and taken to adoption events in the community. The more cats that we find homes for, the more cats we can rescue.

Come Meet Our Pets...

People can visit the Goathouse 7 days a week, from 12-3, or by appointment.

Our Adoption Process...

adoption application, home visit, adoption fee $100
