Aster's Story...
Aster is a wonderful kitty with a LOT of personality. He is very social, loves people and other animals, and is dying for love and attention. His adopter must understand that his 'love bites' are just that - nibbles, pleas, begging you to rub him. They don't hurt and he's not really biting, he wants love. Cat lovers know all about the nibbles. Aster, which is Italian for a special kind of flower, is an unusual light gold and white color with tabby markings and darkish honey-colored eyes. Just look at his picture and you will see this. He has short hair and a smallish compact body. He'd make someone a fantastic companion, just make sure you have lots of lap time and love to give him! About Our Shelter...
Siglinda Scarpa is a potter and a sculpter who owns 3 acres of fenced-in property in which she houses 150-200 homeless cats. The Refuge is a sanctuary for these cats, who never have to leave, but if they are adoptable, the cats are posted on our website and taken to adoption events in the community. The more cats that we find homes for, the more cats we can rescue.
