I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.
The pictures don't do this darling girl justice. You can tell from first glance at Autumn's large round eyes that she is a gentle soul. She is a little shy at first but is very happy to have head and face rubs or be picked up and cuddled. She purrs and is so friendly once she gets to know you - which doesn't take long. Her fur is soft as silk. Please consider adding this sweet baby girl to your home - she would be so happy to join you and provide endless love and companionship.
Update: Skittles spent a little time crated when she was ill, and became much more wary and shy. She is now one of our Cats For Patient Cat People. She is still adorable as ever!

Siglinda Scarpa is a potter and a sculpter who owns 3 acres of fenced-in property in which she houses 150-200 homeless cats. The Refuge is a sanctuary for these cats, who never have to leave, but if they are adoptable, the cats are posted on our website and taken to adoption events in the community. The more cats that we find homes for, the more cats we can rescue.
People can visit the Goathouse 7 days a week, from 12-3, or by appointment.
adoption application, home visit, adoption fee $100
Pittsboro, Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Durham, and Raleigh. We have also taken in cats from SC and NY.
