Mel's Story...
Mel and her sister Bevva came to the shelter together. Mel is a brown tabby with dainty white feet and one beautiful yellow eye. She is shy but shows potential to become a wonderful companion for someone and would love to find her forever home.
Bevva is a tiny calico with a face like a yin-yang: half sunshine, half midnight sky. She was very shy like her sister but has showed tremendous progress and now will lay against your neck like a scarf and purr. Please consider adding one or both of these darling sisters to your home today.

About Our Shelter...
Siglinda Scarpa is a potter and a sculpter who owns 3 acres of fenced-in property in which she houses 150-200 homeless cats. The Refuge is a sanctuary for these cats, who never have to leave, but if they are adoptable, the cats are posted on our website and taken to adoption events in the community. The more cats that we find homes for, the more cats we can rescue.
