Beaumont's Story...
Beaumont is a beautiful young fellow who looks like a Briard mix with maybe a bit of Bearded Collie tossed in for good measure. He is about 3 years old and is one handsome French fellow!

He is milk - chocolate colored with a beautiful coat that doesn’t shed much, but does require brushing.

The Briard is a dog Gentle, loving, and devoted breed of dog that has bags of personality. The Briard is a very intelligent dog with a lively and spirited disposition, but can also be serious and calm when he wants to be. These are dogs that will adapt well to their owners and will be happy to go along with whatever the owner wants to do, whether it’s to sit indoors or to enjoy some play and exercise. The high intelligence of the Briard means that he needs to have mental stimulation in the activities that the owner provides for him to keep him keen, interested, and alert.

Beaumont isn’t not the least bit aggressive or barky, He is perfectly house trained and gets along great with other dogs and seems to like cats, too.

Beaumont is an unusual dog who might be best going to a family that is family with these funny big dogs – he is really cool, confident and gentle.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beaumont, a Poway Briard/Bearded Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Briard/Bearded Collie for sale in Poway, or seeking a Briard/Bearded Collie dog from a breeder in Poway.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Poway already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Poway breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Briard/Bearded Collie breeders who help with Briard/Bearded Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Poway paves the way for another one to be saved.
