Daisy's Story...
Daisy is a sweet, active girl that loves to play. She loves the outdoors and loves her toys and chew bones. She plays well with her sister and loves attention. She would do better in a home with older children because of her small size. She has been wormed and will be ready for adoption after September 2nd when she has been fully vaccinated. She will be spayed when age appropriate. If interested, please fill out an online application.
The first step in applying for one of our pets is to fill out an application. This in no way obligates you to adopt. It helps our foster parents learn more about you, which helps them determine if the pet would be a good fit for your situation. Please log on to our website at www.bbcra.org then click on the button on the left-hand side that says Apply to Adopt.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy, a Pittsboro/Durham Hound (Unknown Type)/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Beagle for sale in Pittsboro/Durham, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Pittsboro/Durham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pittsboro/Durham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pittsboro/Durham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Beagle breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pittsboro/Durham paves the way for another one to be saved.
