MEET TEQUILA...a sassy little 5 yrs old, 9 lb, white/tan, Maltese/Pom (with the emphasis on Maltese)....who will steal your heart in one shot! She was in terrible shape when we pulled her out of South Central...her teeth were a mess and so was her skin...but look at her now! Because of her teeth, we aged her at 5 yrs old, but this angel acts like a puppy...and just fits right in to the household! She loves to snuggle on piles of fluffy pillows/blanket on your bed....she will sit on her hind legs on the ground, on the bed....just about anywhere and bat her paws to get your attention! She is very curious and loves to be around other dogs -- and her temperament with them is great. She doesn't really interact that much..but she tries! She gives lots of kisses, loves to go for walks, wants to take the wheel when you are driving...she definitely thinks she is human! Tequila doesn't like being left alone all day, but we think that she would prefer being the only dog -- especially if you take her with you everywhere! Most of all, she wants YOU...so if you work from home or can take her with you, that would be her heart's desire! She does get anxious in any new place that she goes...and she is a marker....a little alpha princess...so you will need to have some patience and give her time to feel confident and trusting. Other than this issue, she really is perfection!! We think if she is in a home as the only dog, this will subside. She can be a little assertive on leash when other dogs come about....so she will need some training in this area too. She is great with kids and people of all ages. She really is a wonderful little girl and deserves a patient and wonderful home! She'll make you drunk with laughter....she truly is a character! Take one shot of "Tequila" and you'll find yourself smiling all the time!
Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag!

We hold our adoption events most every Sunday from 10am - 3pm at My Pet Naturally in West Los Angeles. You can see this, and many more, adorable pups at this weekly event! Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!!! And don't forget to check out our
