Magnum's Story...
Magnum is an adorable, mischievous, playful, sweet, and fun seven-week-old, male, black and white kitten looking for a loving home. Magnum was found abandoned in a yard when he was only four weeks old. His rescuer bottle fed, nurtured him, and named him Magnum because of his Tom Selleck-like mustache. When his foster mom hugs him, he suckles her neck. He is a quite rambunctious kitten who adores playing rough with other cats, and he loves dogs. He is a healthy boy, who has had a vet-wellness check. To meet and possibly adopt Magnum, please contact Sarah at thinice009@hotmail.com or 773-562-2097. His adoption fee of $75 benefits rescued pets.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Magnum, a Chicago Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
