LADY's Story...
My name is Lady and I am a full blooded Alaskan Malamute approximately 3 to 4 old. My foster mom says that I am sweet as pie!! She took me in to keep me safe. I had been running around the lumber River and going back and forth across Hwy 76 right where those BIG tractor trailers come zooming by at 70 miles and hour!! I am now safe on a 2 acre farm, being fed, and loved. I would really love to find a permanent home where I could have the same love and care that I get here and with lots of room to run. I have another doggie to play with and there are also cats in the house (and I do not bother them!)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LADY, a Wilmington Alaskan Malamute dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Alaskan Malamute for sale in Wilmington, or seeking a Alaskan Malamute dog from a breeder in Wilmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Alaskan Malamute breeders who help with Alaskan Malamute rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
