Cheerio's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Cheerio's Story...
Cheerio is about a year and a half old and a sweet boy. He loves to cuddle and does well with other dogs, cats and kids. He is a little guy who will make an excellent companion and/or travel mate. Cheerio is white and tan, seems to be at least partially housebroken and is quick to learn and adapt. he should fit easily into any home/family. Cheerio has recently injured his back leg(it is unknown what he did to hurt it) but we are hoping this is a temporary injury. He currently is not using the leg and we have segregated him from the other dogs and hope that some rest will help him heal. He is still able to be adopted if he can find a patient, loving home who can continue giving him some healing time and of course, lots of TLC! As mentioned, this is most likely a temporary condition and Cheerio will be running and bouncing(if he chooses to) very soon! Please e-mail your interest and adoption application. Cheerio's adoption fee will be $200 and he will be thoroughly vetted prior to going home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cheerio, a Chiefland Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Chiefland, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Chiefland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chiefland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chiefland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chiefland paves the way for another one to be saved.
