Susie's Story...
Hi, my name is Susie. I was born april 29th, 2004.

Susie is an 8 month old spayed Rottweiler/Labrador mix with a wonderfully sweet disposition. She gets along great with my 3 adult Rottweilers, both male and female. She is very happy. Her nub of a tail never stops wagging. She loves her toys and loves to play. She is very smart. She learned "heel" in ONE lesson! She knows "sit" and we are learning the down now. She is crate trained and is up-to-date on shots and worming. My husband, who is not a big dog person, said he thoroughly enjoys taking Susie for walks because she minds so well!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Susie, a Austin Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever for sale in Austin, or seeking a Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
