Gracie's Story...
This is a courtesy post for Gracie. Gracie's owner is elderly and will not be able to care for her in the near future but wants to find her a good home and is taking care of her till then. She is 5 years old, and a wonderful beagle. She is housetrained, never has accidents, good with dogs, kids, and everyone. She is spayed, up to date on shots and has no health issues. Friendly, seldom barks, never growls, really, really loves kids, good with other pets, loves to eat and play
very healthy, a bit over weight but we are working on that, and very obedient. She is a not a good watchdog, she is too friendly!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gracie, a Indianapolis Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
