Here's what the humans have to say about me:
adoption process at www.sadt.info
located in Elkgrove area
better pictures soon as she's much cuter than the pictures the 3rd picture is of her as a pup
Ruby was adopted last yr but her owner can no longer keep her now
located in ELK GRove Area for the right and fully approved family she can be brought to Redding only
Rubys mom was a small Terrier about 25 pounds and blond Dad was a Golden Retriever
*Ruby is now 16 months old. (Ruby born MAY 20th,2009)
*38 pounds
*Spayed
*Microchipped
*Current on all shots
*Very dainty girl, prances when she walks and trots, but is a tomboy/tough little thing when it comes to playing with other dogs
*Loves other dogs and is good with cats, so long as you don't let her get too excited with them.
My cat, Arrow, likes to run and make the girls chase him. My other cat, Jack, is old, and Ruby just sniffs him but really doesn't have anything to do with him.
*Loves to go on walks and car rides. Even knows the words "walk" and "ride," and is beginning to understand the spelling of those words, so I can't trick her any more. Would do best with another dog in the house as she always has been with other dogs all her life
another larger sister like she had for a yr would be super
*Has not been around many kids, but doesn't seem afraid of them so are only looking for adult home or if a child over 12 yrs and well behaved
*She is a cuddler and kisser. She loves to have human contact. She sits with me on the couch, and at bedtime has to sleep right next to me.
*Is frightened of the sound of fireworks, or other loud, firework/gun type sounds
*Although she has a doggie door, she prefers to stay indoors
*Walks pretty well on a leash.
*Knows how to "sit" "shake" and "lay down" but needs work on these commands
*Good watch dog - very alert to strange sounds.
Looking for a stable family only that has time and a lifetime commitment as we do not want Ruby ever to loose her family again
Looking for active fun home where she can be part of daily family life
adoption fee, homecheck, vet references, fenced yard
