Brigit's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Brigit's Story...
Brigit has made a long trip. She came from a high kill shelter, and we did not know much about her. Soon it became obvious, brigit came from a place where she had been kept in a cage for long periods of time. She would pace, become over stimulated and insecure quickly, we would gently reassure her and put her back in her crate. I am proud to say all that behavior has disappeared. Brigit can play for long periods of time, with the other dogs or with a volunteer. She is very loving, she does not over stimulate any longer, and has become a truly wonderful dog and pet. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brigit, a Longview Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua for sale in Longview, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Longview.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Longview already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Longview breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Longview paves the way for another one to be saved.
