Bessie's Story...
Bentley and Bessie are very very lucky little puppies. A truckdriver was driving alongside a lake on the I40 near Henryetta, Oklahoma at dawn. She happened to see someone in a small boat in the lake throw something into the water... it kinda looked furry to her, so she got off at the next exit, circled around back to the place she saw the boat. She had seen something furry thrown into the lake... It was two puppies left there to drown - they were unable to make it out of the lake themselves, so if she had not seen them and helped they would have drown. Bentley is a solid brindle with shorter hair and huge ears. Bessie is Brindle and white and has a medium/long coat. Our best guess at their breed is Plott Hound / Border Collie. The spay/neuter is included in the adoption fee of $200 and is a required component of the adoption. If you are interested, please email Faith at faith@allstarpetresort.com and put the dog's name in the subject line.
