Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Lucy is a pretty cropped and docked, black/rust young lady of 5 years. One ear is flopped, but it is so cute that it just makes you smile when you see her. She can hold it up at times and she has this really cute habit of laying down and putting one leg behind her ear, and she will lay there like that for the longest time and even fall asleep that way. Lucy can be nasty with other dogs, especially if on a leash, but she is used to being around other dogs. She tends to be protective with her food and toys with other dogs. Lucy is fine with people, but we would still not recommend her around small children. Lucy was previously with two other dogs, and currently lives with my two, so a home of her own or a home that has a laid back dog that will walk away if she growls over something would be best. We don't know about cats. She is completely housebroken and crate trained, but she has the run of the house with my dogs during the day with no problem. Lucy likes people. It took her a little while to get used to her new surroundings, but we have watched her blossom into a dog that now wags her tail all the time and has a happy look on her face. A different environment than the one she was in has and will continue to do wonders. She is a whiner, but we have been working on that with some success. Anyone willing to spend a little time with her will find an easy-to-take-of, really loving wonderful dog. She hopes someone will give her the chance to love them in a new forever home.
