Rachael's Story...
Rachael is a very pretty Dachshund/Chihuahua/Terrier mix who weighs only 4.8 lbs. She's 2 months old so she is very much a puppy. Rachael is a very playfull little girl who is doing well with her new foster family. She has 2 other sisters who are in foster with her as well so you might want to take a look at Phoebe and Monica as well! They are all darling! Rachael just came into foster care so we will update her bio as we learn more about her. She is current on all vaccinations. Come and meet our Rachael!

Kansas City metro area ONLY. Pre-screening required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rachael, a Overland Park Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
