Bustopher Jones's Story...
Bustopher Jones and 12 other kittens came to VPAS from a remote community on Northern Vancouver Island where they had been abandoned. When they first arrived they were all in poor health and were very weak and tiny. They have spend several weeks in the care of our veterinarians and wonderful foster families and are now healthy and ready for adoption.

Bustopher Jones is probably the most cuddly kitten in his litter. He is extremely playful but is willing to stop in the middle of playtime for a quick cuddle. He is very agile and likes to run and jump around. He is full of beans and loves to boss around his siblings. He is very talkative, especially when he thinks he's been left alone. Bustopher does get lonely so will be happiest in a home with another pet that he can play with, or with someone who is home much of the day.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bustopher Jones, a Saanichton Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Saanichton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Saanichton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Saanichton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Saanichton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Saanichton paves the way for another one to be saved.
