Lord and Taylor's Story...

Lord is a big sweetheart! He is extremely affectionate! Lord is looking for a home with Taylor. Taylor is friendly and loves attention. They are inseparable! They cry for each other if they do not see each other. Taylor along with Lord was abandoned in a pet store parking lot in the middle of a hot summer day! Their owner stuffed them into a carrier that was "only" suitable to contain one cat let alone two!. Luckily for them, a good Samaritan and animal person heard their cries of distress and confusion and brought them in. Other then being thirsty and scared, they were fine! Now they are looking for a home that will loved and treasured them together!

They are already spay and neutered, FIV/FELK tested negative, Avid micro-chipped, de-wormed and they have all their shots including Leukemia vaccine! They are all ready to go to a great home. Adoption fee is $200.00 for the pair which includes one free vet visit per cat within 30 days of adoption (medicines and services not included).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lord and Taylor, a Chicago Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
