Max's Story...
Max is a very friendly, cute, sturdy young dog, about 3-4 years old. He is active but not hyper. He gets along with other dogs and has had some exposure to cats. Max was abandoned at a boarding kennel. There is no good reason for this, because he is a great dog. He obviously has some Lhasa, but the secondary breed, if any, we are not sure about. Max is on the large side for a Lhasa, at about 15 lbs. If you would like to meet Max, contact Discarded Miracles - discardedmiracles@gmail.com and tell us a little about yourself.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Los Alamitos Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Los Alamitos, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Los Alamitos.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Alamitos already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Alamitos breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Alamitos paves the way for another one to be saved.
