Nina's Story...

Nina is a Beagle. She is Tri-Colored. Nina is 2 Years Old. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. She weighs around 25 lbs.

Nina is a sassy, lovable gal! Nina will greet you with a big smile on her face whenever you walk into the room. She loves being around everyone, and loves to give kisses and snuggle. She is great around everyone, loves children and other dogs. Nina likes to curl around you and sleep, she likes to snuggle next to you and get belly rubs. She will follow you around the house wherever you go trying to find out what your up to. She would be a great companion for someone who is home alone alot. Nina loves being next to you while your watching tv, or when you go to bed at night, she likes to sleep at your feet. She does well on the leash, but would do wonderful with a harness. She loves running around in the backyard, likes to romp around in the grass. She's very playful and loves to play "chase your hand" on the bed while you move your hand back and forth. She loves chew toys, the squeaky ones she really likes.

Nina would do well with a person who is either retired or works from home because she craves human companionship. She likes to follow you around the house so would be a great companion for someone who is retired and looking for the company. She's a small girl who likes to also sit on your lap while your on the couch. Nina loves people so the more people in the house the better in her eyes! She does great with other dogs as well, another beagle would be great for her! She does well in the car, either in her crate or sitting next to you in the front seat. She walks well with her harness on as well. Nina would love someone who works from home or is retired so they can spend all day with her, since she craves the interaction. She would also enjoy another dog as well to keep her company. She has alot of love to give and is looking for that special family she knows is out there somewhere waiting!

Nina is not aggressive with other dogs, she has been with small, large, young and old dogs.

At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nina, a Latrobe Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Latrobe, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Latrobe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Latrobe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Latrobe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Latrobe paves the way for another one to be saved.
