Frankie's Story...
I know, not the best pictures, but they will have to do for now. Frankie came into the shelter as a stray and was never claimed by his owner. He is about 18mo old and seems to be fine with kids, and other dogs, cats are unknown. He weighs about 10lbs and is non shedding. It is unknown if he is housetrained. Upon pulling him from the shelter, we noticed he had what is called cryptorchid testicals, which required a more invasive procedure to do his neuter. Therefore his adoption fee is $225 which includes his neuter, vaccines, deworm, heartworm test, and microchip. He also had to be treated for ringworm, which is now fine. This little guy obviously was not well cared for in his first home, how about giving him the chance at a better life, the second time around??? For more info please call Melissa at 801-427-3067 We will be at the Petco on State and Center Street in Orem Saturday 2/5/05 from 10am-3pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frankie, a Orem Poodle (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Orem, or seeking a Poodle (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Orem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Poodle (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orem paves the way for another one to be saved.
