Mac's Story...
Hi, my name is MAC. I was found on the streets of Ft. Worth and taken to Ft. Worth Animal Shelter. I was completely infested with ticks and fleas. I had chewed my paws raw trying to get rid of them. Some of my hair fell out due to the stress and being so under nourished. Of coarse I tested positive for Heart-worms.

The good news! The folks at NORCAL Boxer Rescue got me out. I've since gained almost 20 pounds, I've gotten my Heart-worm treatment, my paws have recovered and my hair is slowly coming back.

I know I look a bit old (7 or 8) but I'm really only 4-5 years old. I love people young and old. I also get along great with my foster families' dogs (5 total). I am a big boy but I cuddle up like I'm a lap dog.

Thanks to the many people who donate to NORCAL Boxer Rescue. With continued donations they can help many more deserving dogs like myself.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mac, a Richardson Boxer/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Boxer for sale in Richardson, or seeking a Boxer/Boxer dog from a breeder in Richardson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richardson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richardson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Boxer breeders who help with Boxer/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richardson paves the way for another one to be saved.
