Vera's Story...
Vera is a sweet and gentle kitten. She loves to sit in your lap and be petted. She will start to purr loudly when someone pets her. She is a gorgeous kitten who looks like she should do some kitten modeling. Her long fur is extremely soft and has striking tabby markings. Vera's favorite games are chasing a small stick on a string or playing with her ball that rotates around a ring. Vera will be about 8 weeks old the middle of September.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Vera, a Reston Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Reston, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Reston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reston paves the way for another one to be saved.
