Amelia's Story...
I was found as a pregnant stray and now that my babies have all found their families, it is time for me to find a forever home of my own. My name is Amelia and I am a super friendly, affectionate little girl who is about 1 year old. I love love love human interaction and should get along fine with other cats, but don't care much for those silly barking dogs. I am very petite -- only weighing about 7 lbs so I promise not to take up too much space and the nice people at Feline Friends are making the necessary arrangments for my spay to ensure I keep my tiny figure! If you are looking for an outgoing, loving lifetime companion, please make an appointment to meet me!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amelia, a Feeding Hills Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Feeding Hills, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Feeding Hills.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Feeding Hills already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Feeding Hills breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Feeding Hills paves the way for another one to be saved.
