Katy's Story...
Katy is one of the sweetest little girls you'll ever meet. She loves to cuddle and have her belly rubbed. She loves her balls and her stuffed animals, but most of all she loves people. And she loves to give "high fives." She's fairly small at about 12" and is 4 years old. She has always had a loving home and now lives with a foster dad. Her first mom became to sick to care for her.

She is quite calm and would do well with leash walks, but even better with a nice fenced yard. She could possibly be happy in an apartment if she gets plenty of walks and could get to a dog park several times a week. She has been known to go hiking without letting us know so she should never be allowed to roam free in an unenclosed area.

Katy will make someone a very happy best friend. She is up to date on all shots, spayed, negative for heart worm and parasites and very bright, alert and responsiveness. She just needs someone special to love and to high five.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Katy, a Thomasville Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Thomasville, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Thomasville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Thomasville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Thomasville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Thomasville paves the way for another one to be saved.
